Buenos Aires, December 26 (NA) – A 44-year-old man was injured after being hit by a taxi in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, according to sources from the SAME (Emergency Medical Service) to the Argentine News Agency. The incident occurred on Luis María Campos street, between Matienzo and República de Eslovenia, where the car driven by a 64-year-old man struck the pedestrian. Immediately, an ambulance from SAME arrived at the scene and transferred the injured man to the Pirovano Hospital due to a head trauma, while traffic was interrupted by the authorities' operation. Meanwhile, the taxi driver was assisted by health personnel after suffering a nervous breakdown, although he did not require hospitalization.
